15th March 2008
Indoor Cricket was organised by Paul Jeffs for the team on the 15th at Stantonbury campus MK. A reasonable turn out of 9 by the team and others made for an excellent day, especially as it was only £10 for the 4 hours that we were there. Not quite enough players for a match, but everyone bowled 8 overs and batted 8 overs. Scoring was based on batting only, with Paul Jeffs coming out on top with 78 and not out. Nevster came in second with 91 although was out 4 times (Minus 6 runs each time you are out) making it a score of 67. Chris Bull with 63 was in third. Notable other scores, Colin Eldred 6(!) and Paul's mate Tony with a magnificent -3 (Yes, that's Minus 3)!.
Due to the success of this event, we will be organising another one in due course. Details will follow shortly.

This year's annual presentation night and race evening will take place on Saturday 27th October at the Chalgrave Memorial Hall, Tebworth. Tickets are priced at £7 each which includes a fish and chip supper. Fully licensed bar with real ales, lager on tap and a selection of wines and soft drinks.
